​During the Covid-19 pandemic, this single father of 2 contacted us that due to the loss of his job, funds ran short, and he needed food to feed his children. We were able to meet his needs and provide his family with food and a Thanksgiving basket/Turkey for the holidays. A year later, we reached out to him to get an update on his status. He had gotten the job, his son had received a scholarship to college, and his daughter was graduating high school. Months later, he reached out to us and came out to serve with us as a volunteer and also joined at a Christmas toy giveaway that we were invited to as Santa Claus.
