Lunch Box of Love is a nonprofit founded in 2017 with a mission to combat food insecurity and poverty in its community through compassionate meal distribution, food pantry support, and outreach.
We serve homeless individuals and families, low-income families, elderly and disabled individuals, at-risk youth, and vulnerable community members in North Texas.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service studies food insecurity across the United States.
Food insecurity in America is projected to surge in 2026, driven by a nearly $186 billion reduction in SNAP benefits and expanded work requirements from the 2025 "One Big Beautiful Bill Act".
Approximately 47.9 million Americans faced hunger as of early 2026, with food bank demand spiking 30–50% since early 2025. The crisis disproportionately impacts children and minority households.
